Unhappy reposting

I had a CT done in November it showed I have a 2.0 cm nodule. It is a suspicious nodule. They recomended I go have a MRI which I did waiting to hear something from the doctor. I'm really scared that this is cancer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was sent for a MRI My report says I have a inhomogeneously enhanching 2.3 mass in my upper pole. It says it suggest it could be a angiomyolipoma but the enhancement is worrisome and has incomplete fat suppression raising concern that this is RCC. My doctor has refferd me to a urologist just waiting for them to call and schedule me. Can the Radioligisgt be right or does the biopsy confirm it. Just so nervous and scared.

Re: reposting

I don't know about that size mass. My Radiologist didn't say much except that my mass looked like it was cancer on the CAT scan. The Urologist said it was hard to be sure and sent me for a CAT scan with contrast dye. From the second scan they were sure what it was due to the texture and blood flow, but mine was 7.8 cm. My doctor wouldn't do a needle biopsy, because they can spread "seeds". He went right for scheduling surgery. I don't know what they look for in smaller masses.
