kidney mass

Hi after a routine scan for something else a mass of 4cm by 2.5cm was found on my left kidney midpole. my gp phoned next morning and urgently refered me to urologist and ct scan . had urologist appointment but ct messed up paper work so having it Sunday and urologist next week with result. mass is showing as very vasular. does anyone have experience of this and the out come good or bad. Thank you
