Unhappy not a questionn.. a statement

My dad got diagnosed with lung cancer in October of 2010. It spread into his bones, his other lung, and his stomach. He passed away from it on May 28th, 2011. He they gave him six months from his diagnosis. He didn't give up his fight. He fought til it hurt to bad and he couldnt stand it anymore.
    CANCER SUCKS

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Unfortunately, I know how you feel.

My mom was treated for a cpl mths for the flu. A few Zpacks later and once she lost her voice they done a few more tests. She found out Aug 2009 and left us in early Oct 2009. She had it in her left lung, no metastisis. They wouldn't give us a prognosis of time, she too was strong and gave it all she could.

    Sure does suck!!

I'm also very sorry about your Dad. I hate cancer, but it is such a complex disease I don't know if they will ever find a cure.

My mother died at age 52, my grandmother died a year after that, both of lung cancer. Now my M-I-L is battling lung cancer, and I had breast cancer 8 years ago. I am grateful to still be here but I miss my Mom and Grandma. They never saw my beautiful children. I HATE YOU CANCER!

Yes, that sounds scary! It sounds like she's doing well now, but I'm sure she misses your Dad a lot. I'm sorry.

Cancer does suck...I am so sorry about your dad. My brother, age 47, was diagnosed with SC lung cancer just in February and it is just about over for him as well.
    My thoughts are with you...
