    Immunotherapy and Pancreatic Cancer

On the old pancreatic section of the cancer forums, there was a thread on immunotherapy worked better the more different cancer treatments a patient had received.

Does anybody remember such a thread, and if so, where some of the information that was in that old thread might be ?

Maybe it's just my memory playing tricks on me.

I have also added significant detail about my poor wife's latest issues in my "pseudo-signature" below. Any comments or suggestions would be most welcome !

    Thanks,

    RambinWreck (RW).
    -------
    57 year old Wife's PC:
    4-19 - Constipation. "You're old, take Miralax".
7-14-19 - Constipation with pain below the right rib cage. Again "Your old, take Miralax". I say BS and go to Urgent Care.
7-15-19 - Urgent Care says "BS" on "Miralax" & orders abdominal CT scan.
7-19-19 - Abd CT Scan reveals 6.0 x 4.9 cm mass in the pancreatic head which encases the superior mesenteric vein.
    7-26-19 - Biopsy confirms adenocarcinoma

8-8-19 - Start FOLFIRINOX once every two weeks.
9-20-19 - End first four rounds of FOLFIRINOX.
9-27-19 - CT scan reveals tumor reduced to 4.6 x 3.2 cm (50% reduction), but now evidence of malignancy in the lymph nodes.

10-4-19 - Onc suggests gemcitabine nab-paclitaxel due to lymph node increase/high CA19-9 obtained at 1st & 2nd treatments. NO CA19-9 obtained at 3rd & 4th treatments. ONLY one CA19-9 post treatment initiation. I demand CA19-9 test before switchig.
10-5-19 - CA19-9 test ~ 10 weeks after treat start is 9700. Staying with Folfirinox

12-13-2019 - Bile Duct Blockage identified by high bilirubin
12-20-2019 - Failed Endoscopic stent placement in bile duct.

1-3-2020 - Failed Interventional Radiology Stent placement in bile duct. External drain successful.
1-5-2020 - Hospitalized with kidney failure because of excessive draining/dehydration
==> draining as much as 2.5 liters per day.

    1-9-2020 - Started S.M.A.R.T Radiation Therapy
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6555709/

1-10-2020 - Stent placement successful, new external drain placed but capped.
1-11-2020 - Blood work shows improvement in kidney function
    1-12-2020 - Released from hospital.
1-13-2020 - Drain starts leaking, drain uncapped but drain still continues to leak.
1-21-2020 - 8 mm drain tube replaced with a capped 10 mm drain tube. Idea is larger tube provides a better "seal". New drain no longer leaks.
1-24-2020 - Drain starts leaking and wife is in SEVERE pain. Drain uncapped. Leaking reduced and pain reduced.
1-28-2020 - Rejected idea to replace 10 mm drain with 12 mm drain as no guarantee of success and 12 mm drain could cause the dehyration issue to reappear. Luckily, drain leakage is minimal.

2-3-2020 - Drain leakage is reducing and SMART radiation therapy is continuing
