It won't cure. I have read that some people have reduced the cancer enough to be able to have the whipple surgery. It can provide some relief if the tumors are pressing on veins and nerves. It may buy time. I am no expert anyway. It is a personal decision that should be made on lots of research. I know people who have opted for it and people who didn't. Sadly the results were the same because of the late diagnosis. However, there are a few success stories out there. You need to contact the organization for pancreatic cancer and start from there.

Yes, people can be helped. < edited > - I have met this man, had dinner at his house, met his family, etc. He's real. My husband and I are in one of his photo albums, 2009 - < edited >
Best of luck - be sure to go to a first rate cancer hospital is possible, MD Anderson, Houston, TX, or Johns Hopkins, Baltimore or see Dr. Fine, New York City. There are many others, but these are few of the top rated doctors & hospitals.
    God Bless
