I think several of the folks on this Board have had SBRT. You can find some very good information here from some people who have studied the topic extensively and have chosen various different treatments.
Hopefully they will post soon and answer your question.

    Re: Think 5 radiation

HH44, Think Five is recommended for patients with:

Localized prostate cancer, meaning the cancer has not spread to other parts of the body
Low, intermediate, and selected patients with high disease risk, which is determined using a number of clinical factors, including the aggressiveness of the cancer
Selected patients with limited disease outside of the prostate.

If your doctors have reccomended this for you than you must fit the bill. If your just searching the net looking for some type of different treatment make sure your you get all the information out there. Many of these **** sites are just trying to sell you on there treatments proceedures.

    Re: Think 5 radiation

I just finished (today) 5 doses from a CyberKnife treatment of a metastases on the T-11 Lamina, of my spine. Each dose was 500 (don't remember the units), for a total of 2500, over 2 weeks. Absolutely no side effects! The hardest part was laying completely still for 50 minutes, at a time.

Had only 1 metastases show up on PET Scan, so far. Will wait 3 months, retest PSA (was 0.4) and have another, more advanced PSMA Scan.
