    da Vinci and belly fat

Hi guys. New to posting here, but have been reading for a while.

I am trying to look at all of the various treatment options. I'm not locked in on any particular option yet, but the da Vinci robotic surgery is the one that's peaking my interest most.

I'm hoping that someone out there can give some feedback on this issue. While I don't consider myself to be obese, my belly does have pretty nice layer of fat. I'm pretty sure that it's hereditary because my father and brothers all carried the same load around the mid-section. (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!)

My concern is whether this belly fat could be a deal breaker for being a candidate for the robotic surgery.

I'd appreciate any input that you guys have.

    Thanks.

Not knowing all your test results makes it hard to give a good reply. The answer to belly fat is it makes it harder on the doctor. It will not rule you out.
