My story
I flew UH1C gunships in Vietnam in support of many events but my downfall was supporting agent orange drops in I corp. I went in for a routine physical (Nov 2013) with my PC provider and found my PSA at a 7.5 at which time he sent me to a urologist where another PSA test was done after 2 months and my PSA was at 9.1 which led to the biopsy and the diagnosis of cancer. My PSA is 9.1, my gleason score is 8 and I was sent to a radiation oncologist for a visit. I had a CT scan with no movement to the lymph nodes. I will have a bone scan next week and the oncologist is sure it will be fine. After looking at the Partin tables and the actions for my PSA and gleason I have decided (I think) for total removal of my prostate gland. My cancer is HIGH and very aggressive. I do not want hormone therapy ( I am a big man at 270 and don't need any more weight!) Any thoughts.....thanks ahead of time!!!!!!!!!
