I had a colonoscopy this past Tuesday. The doctor said there was "nodularity of the rectum". He took a biopsy and the results were benign. My question is what is the significance of this finding? Does this put me at increased risk for rectal cancer? Thanks for any info.

Re: Colonoscopy

Ask your doctor, but the classic route to colorectal cancer is polyp-> carcinoma. the good news is of you catch (&remove) the polyps before they go bad, you are usually ok.
