cancerous mole, need opinions

Please respond someone!
In June 2009 I noticed a tiny hard spot in my lower stomach. It was pinkish and the size of the tip of a pen. I picked it and it came out of my skin and looked like a tiny seed. It was hard like one too. The spot [size of a pore] bled quite a bit after I pulled out the ''seed'' but I thought I had nothing to worry about.
Then in September 2009 I noticed the SAME hard seed thing in the SAME spot again. I didn't know what to do so I let it go, not thinking it would turn into anything. It gradually grew into a brown mole but unlike any I've seen. It is completely flat, the width of a pencil eraser but totally above the skin except the middle part that is connected to my skin. The edges are irregular, jagged and can be folded up. It's weird. The surface of it is smooth but bumpy. It resembles pictures I've seen of melanoma but this is only connected to the skin in the center and the rest is off the skin so its not just a dark bumpy spot spreading.
I've had it for almost two years now. It grew rapidly and hasn't changed at all since. No itching or hurting or anything. Not really sure what to do. Any advice or opinions?

Get it checked by a dermatologist, if just for piece of mind. I would say the sooner the better.....just saying.

Either have your PCP Dr. look at it or see a Dermo Dr. It could be nothing or it could be the start of something. If it is nothing a Dermo. can freeze it off and then you won't need to worry about it.

I've had 2 cancerous moles removed from my face and several NON cancerous moles frozen off. Better safe then sorry.

Good luck..JJ..
