Concerned for my husband

Hi all,
I'm concerned that my husband might have stomach cancer, and I was hoping you could help me. A little background: he's 44, diabetic, has had numerous abdominal surgeries (hernias) and takes medication for acid reflux. He has also had polyps removed during colonoscopy.

For the past couple of months, my husband has these "attacks" where he'll eat something and immediately get sick. Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, sometimes sweating and a low-grade fever. When I say "immediately," I mean within minutes of eating. It doesn't matter what he eats - we've tracked it. The doctor changed his acid reflux meds but they haven't been helping. This happens at least once a week, sometimes more. He often feels full after eating very little and is constantly bloated and suffers abdominal pain.

We currently have no health insurance (working on it) so he refuses to go to the ER when this happens. Should I force him? Does this sound like stomach cancer?

Thanks for your advice!
