    Should I be concerned

Hi I'm 24 and have been smoking casually for about six months (stopped now before it got worse) but over the past few months I have been experiencing some sharp pain on the left side of my back ONLY when I'm laying down and have my head up such as when I'm looking at my phone when I'm on my back. It's a sharp pain that I feel when I sometimes feel when I breathe in, but that's the only time I ever get the pain is when I'm lying in that position.

I do not have it throughout the day at all and I have no cough or any other symptoms. I am somewhat concerned it could be the early stages of lung cancer.

I visited my doctor last week and she said that there are no worrisome signs but should I get a CT scan done just in case?

I'd be more inclined to think it was your back, or a muscle. I would stop worrying and try a chiropractor.

Well the thing is, sometimes it feels like it's in the center of my body and not just the back or chest. Like I can feel it inside.

there is something called "text neck", now from people looking at their phones constantly.......I think your issue is muscular, I really do.....
find a chiropractor that does soft tissue work
