lump under my jaw

I am a 26 year old male. I two had a semi-round growth under my right jaw and two under my left jaw for about 7 years now. In order to feel them I have to tilt my head to the side and put my fingers right at the arch of my jaw bone if that makes any sense. They move to the outside of my jawbone so they are just under the skin. I then move my head back up and I can not feel them anymore. They are easily movable and do not hurt unless they are played with too much and then they seem to get infected because it seems they will grow some if played with to long, and then go back down. I am going to schedule a physical soon but I just wanted to know what they could be. I have never heard of a cancer that can go untreated for 7 years with no symptoms. Does anyone know what this may be.

hello,

Did you have any luck on finding out what this is? I have similar symtoms. For years I have had achiness and tenderness on my right jaw. Recently, I have found a pea siazed lump in this area. But like you, i can only feel it if my head is tilting down. Let me know if you have found out anything. I really appreciate your help

regards

It's probably some kind of epidermal cyst or maybe a lipoma (a localized collection of fat) which has persisted in that area.
