ct scan?

My husband has been having pain in his neck, so they did a ct scan of his neck with contrast to rule out a mass. and the results say "an occasional <5mm lymph node involving the anterior chain. Pathologically the enlarged lymph nodes are not observed". the doctor has not explained anything to us yet.... does anybody know what this means????? thanks for the help.

Re: ct scan?

I'm just guessing here, but it sounds as if this part, "an occasional <5mm lymph node involving the anterior chain." refers to what the doctor told the radiologist he was looking for, and this part, "Pathologically the enlarged lymph nodes are not observed." means that nothing was found.
