Angry dnt know how to deal with mums cancer

where do i start my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer 4 mnths ago now, started in her cervix and was going but then BOOM we got the terrible news that horrible day and i will never forget it my world has been crushed since. It has now gone to both lungs and liver, she has had chemo and that hurts to see her loose her hair, but do you know never once has she complained, she such a great lady i really envy her and how she deals with this terrible disease, its me that aint dealing with it cos i know its going to take her, they gave my mum 2 mnths but she has done nearly 4 now, shes amazing,i just cnt get it out of my head because shes only a young 50 and shes my rock i love her soo much. Wish i could see her everyday but i cant as i live 110 miles away and i cnt get to see her very often as my husband works away and most weekends.I feel like im going mad,i used to be so bubbly but my confidence has gone so down lately,i cry myself to sleep most nights and have her pictures everywhere even though mums still here fighting so much. sorry to babble on i just needed to get it off my chest. lisax

Re: dnt know how to deal with mums cancer

Stage 4 cervical cancer has a better prognosis then alot of other cancers. I read that 20% to 30% of women with stage 4 cervical cancer can expect to be alive 5 years later. Every situation and person is different, I cannot say whether your mother can expect this. Doctors cannot give you a timeline, they don't know! I would seek treatment at a major cancer center, if you have not already. Best of luck to you and your mom. Good prayers and thoughts sent your way.

Re: dnt know how to deal with mums cancer

Hi Mabgb my mums doing ok,we went to my brothers wedding last friday which was very emotianal for mum but it was a beutiful day,mum doesn"t get her results from the CT scan till the 24th nov which is this friday i think,so we are keeping our fingers crossed for that.
My husband bought me a puppy king charles spaniel on saturday,he said he will take my mind of things which he is so right, and its took me 5 years to get one so im over the moon with george (the pups name).
Mum looked really lovely on her sons wedding we couldnt tell she was wearing a wig bless her, shes so strong and scared at the same time, but we will get her through it.
Right best be going to sort things out i will keep you all up to date thankyou lisax

Re: dnt know how to deal with mums cancer

Have u tried all options? Conventional medicine is not the only avenue to take.

When people cant find success in orthodox or conventional medicine they usually turn to alternative medicine or wholistic medicine as it is called.

Have u tried nutritional medicine.Nutritional medicine is where they they use natural foods free from pesticides and unnaturall additives to help your own body heal itself, i think.

If I had cancer really bad I would be getting half an hour of sunlight everyday staying away from junk foods.eating plenty of fruits and vegatables getting some comfortable exercise and taking some high quality coral calcium.

While I make an appointment to see a reputable wholistic specialist.

While I do research on alternative cancer cures.

Maybe im wrong but I truly believe there is an alternative cure to cancer!

Dont give up.
