"Basal cell hyperplasia in a lymphocytic background" How worried should I be?

I had a brush test, sample taken of the area near wear my tonsils used to be. The test came back as showing "basal cell hyperplasia in a lymphocytic background." Anyone knows what that means? My dentist said the result could mean I have a 25% to 35% of cancer in that area, but my regular doctor (internal medicine specialist) said he sees cells like that all the time and I shouldn't worry, but I should get a normal biopsy just incase. So anyone know what this description means? The lab results also say "Atypical epithelial squamous epithellial cells"
