    Is it candida or more?

    In March of this year, I got mono (though it wasn't diagnosed until May), along with sinus infection and was wheezing. Not knowing it was mono, my dr prescribed antibiotics, steroids and 2 inhalers. It didn't improve, so a month later, I was prescribed a stronger antibiotic. I started experiencing a burning sensation on my tongue, throat and into my trachea or esophagus and a feeling of tightness in my upper lung areas. (I thought it was new onset of asthma, but it would feel better, to some extent, when I took a dose of liquid antacid, so I believe it's in my esophagus). I also started having a lot of exacerbation of these symptoms when exposed to any chemical or scent. I developed the tell-tale white/yellow coating on my tongue. I was treated with Diflucan and Nystatin (100 mg a day every other day for a total of 7 tablets. The thick, white coating on my tongue resolved, but my tongue still had something white on it. I saw the PA in an GI dr office, who said I didn't have thrush because you can scrape thrush and this wouldn't scrape off. And then blew me off. The thick coating on my tongue returned a couple of weeks later. I started a 2nd round of Diflucan (100 mg daily x 7 days) and more Nystatin. It is August and these symptoms continue and have even worsened. I'm also experiencing the following symptoms (which may or may not be related):
    * burning pain in my sinus behind nasal bone on left side that will evolve
    into a sinus headache, then a raging migraine
    * overwhelming fatigue
    * intermittent stomach pain
    * depression/anxiety that is worsening
    * night sweats
    * back/sciatic pain (had an ablation in Feb, which had alleviated pain)
    * milky, vaginal discharge (no itching/burning)
    * Intense cravings for sweets/carbs
    * diagnosed with adult onset asthma (CT seems to confirm this)
    I have no doubt that Candida is in play, but could it be responsible for all of these problems? I've been taking a good probiotic for a couple of weeks. I started yesterday drinking Apple Cider Vinegar water (2T in warm water 3xday) and am avoiding sugar/carbs. I also stopped using inhalers and estrogen/progesterone supplements. Can anyone give me any advice? I've seen 3 drs and am scheduled for a scope of my upper GI next week and to see an allergy/asthma specialist in 2 weeks. No one is giving me any idea of what I'm dealing with. The PA just called in ANOTHER round of Diflucan (150 mg daily x 5 days). I am in SO much discomfort and beyond frustrated. Sorry this is so long! Thanks in advance.
