My husband has Alzheimer's and it's getting really hard to deal with. Bought a camper, thinking we could go and spend time together, but he's ready to come home after one night. We have gone on vacation to where he loves to go and he stays in bed 2 out of the 3 days we are there. How can I get him to enjoy time away from home??

Re: Husband with Alzheimer's
I know the frustration of this terrible disease and I feel for you. My wife also has Alzheimer's Disease and I found out through trial and error that you can't "make" the person do anything or enjoy anything. My wife and I do things when it suits her and for as long as it suits her. Right or wrong I don't know, this just works for us.

Re: Husband with Alzheimer's
I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I'm not qualified to answer you, but wishing you blessings.
