    Cubital Tunnel?

I've had pain in my elbow for the past month, extending down my arm, on my dominant arm. Some lack of strength in my grip and arm pain when in certain positions. Also it is quite sore at night. Hurts to extend the arm completely but also hurts to bend it at times. First I thought tennis elbow. Lately though, I have noticed that when at my computer typing and using the mouse, my pinky and ring finger get very cold. They don't necessarily go numb but just get ice cold.
I haven't gone to see anyone yet, but am wondering if this could be cubital tunnel? Most posts I see talk about numbness, which I don't really have. Just the iciness.
Also, icing the elbow really hurts worse. Would heat help at all?
    Thanks in advance,
    Carol

Sucha, when you say it gets very cold...this is possibly numbness.

It could be cubital tunnel; the only way to know for sure is to see a neurologist or ortho who can preform an EMG test on the nerves to see if they are responding correctly.

Does it go away if you stay off the computer? Does it feel normal if you have been off the computer for some time? These are questions which you will be asked by the doctor as well in order to help him/ her figure out what is happening and why/ when.

    Hi,
Thanks for the response. Yes, when I move my arm out of the computer position the fingers will warm up. It just seems to happen when I am leaning the arm against the table, or sometimes when my arm is bent at an angle smaller than 90 degrees.
