Unhappy Doctor said I might have carpal tunnel syndrome help!

Hello my name is Rachel. I am 25 years old part time worker at safeway. I am a part time courtesy clerk I bag grocery, carry them out, bring in carts daily. I been having my left and right hand in pains before I got my job at safeway. Then recently my left, right wrists start to hurt. I went to my doctor, she could not find anything wrong, send me to see a wrist specialist. The doctor still could not find anything and said I might have carpal tunnel syndrome, but want me to see a neurology to test my nerves to determine if I have carpal syndrome then I have to go back to see him. I have not have my testing yet as the people at the clience hardly ever answer their phones or even return phone calls. Anyway here are problems I am having. My left, right hands and my left, right wrist are in pains daily. I can not open jars lid anymore unless I bang them on the counter. I can not write or type for long time because they will cause my whole entire hands to hurt. If I put pressure on my hands it will hurts. My hand will fall asleep or feel tingling. When I am doing dishes, I am trying to put away dishes like 4 stack of dinner plates, I almost can drop them because they are too heavy. I can no longer hold heavy objects without breaking them, I can break my plates too. My arm, shoulder would end up being in pain too. I even do exercise it not working for me, doctors prescribe me inflammtion medience it doesn't help at all. I want to know if anyone who does have carpal tunnel syndrome and help me determine if I have carpal tunnel syndrome and if I may need surgery. I hope I don't have to have surgery as I already had seven different surgries in my life. Please help if you can thanks I will be online for while.

Here is a good link about carpal tunnel syndrome. These were some of the tests that my doctor performed on me when I was first diagosed with CTS.

My doctor ordered an EMG test on my hands to see if I truely had CTS. Also a pinched nerve in the neck can also make it look like you have CTS.

I am in the wholesale end of the grocery business and get a lot of tendon injuries. You might try buying a tennis elbow brace for the pain in your upper arm and a golfer elbow brace for your forearm. Golfer's elbow will spread pain all the way up to your wrist. The braces will help the pain and help the tendons heal.
