lump on back of 3 year olds head?? PLEASE READ!!

About 3 days ago i notice my 3 year old daughter had a small firmish lump on the back of her head on the left side around where the scull meets the spine.. when i touched it she jumped a little and said it hurt and it kinda moved around a little.. I have been checking it everyday and Im not sure but it seems to be a bit bigger (bit bigger then a pea) harder and doesn't move as much now... I am trying to get her into a doctor but they are all booked out untill after xmas but i am worried sick.. does anyone have any sort of idea what this could be? I have researched and read it could be a swollen lymph node but then i watched a video on you tube and the doctor was saying it is not normal for a lymph node to be hard and on the back of the head/ neck... I know i shouldn't worry until i know but it's all part of being a mother...

Don't stress out over this lump. Since she is eating, sleeping and doing everything just like normal and no fever then it is a lump ...nothing more, nothing less....she would of had a bunch of symptoms if it were anything remotely serious. It sounds like just a small cyst that might in fact go away on its own. If it like suddenly changes shape, size or color then just go to your local hospital emergency room or clinic or where ever. I understand worry...had a bunch of kids and now we have a bunch/14 grand-kids with more on the way. Relax. Good luck.
