Had Norovirus... now relapse?

Hi all,

I'm posting because I'm concerned that the pattern of illness here is not typical. So far we have not seen a doctor because the illness has been going through our area (several friends had it). Today a new twist was added.

Last Wednesday, both my children turned up with vomiting in the middle of the night. The vomiting was intense, and lasted about 8 hours, after which my daughter (3) quickly recovered and began playing, and my son (10) layed in bed all day. The children both seem to not have recovered fully (they're slightly muted, less energetic about play, and my son at least has been complaining occasionally about mild stomach upset, which we have been thinking is anxiety, since the 8 hours of throwing up every half hour really unnerved him). They have both had mild diarrhea since then, but not too serious.

On Friday, wife and I both got it (it's a very mean disease), and while we're better, neither of us is yet 100%. So today is Monday, and a full five days after kids were acutely ill, three days after mom & dad.

My son woke up this morning with a more upset than usual stomach, enough to keep him in bed for an hour before getting up. My daughter had terrible, massive diarrhea (it was getting better, and just got worse) and actually vomited this morning after eating.

My question is... has anyone seen similar symptoms in this strain of virus that's been going around this year? I'm very concerned about it "going away" and then returning like this-- that does not seem like a normal disease progression. As of now, both the kids are eating okay, and seem to be holding things down, but they're still not 100% themselves.
