Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - what has worked?

I've been battling chronic fatigue syndrome for a few years now. It's pretty bad. I'm really into fitness, but often I go to the gym and I can barely lift my eyelids. My friends all think I'm a baby because on Friday and Saturday night I either don't make it out of the house or, if I do, I'm back home by 11pm. Caffeine does nothing for me. I had been taking 20mg of Lexapro, which seemed to MAYBE be helping slightly. I was going to up the dose, but I switched to Prozac because Lexapro is insanely expensive here. The Prozac didn't work and it made my head fuzzy, so I stopped immediately. What I want to know is what has worked for others? I don't want to sleep through life, either.

Re: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - what has worked?

I might be able to help you. I use Acupressure everyday to help me get through each day.Its free and you can use it yourself. Its a simple thing to do by gently rubbing various pressure points.I do this first thing in the morning about 2 hours before I get out of bed. Then I do them again after I get out of bed and around 11am.This makes my day easier. Just look up acupressure massage for chronic fatigue syndrome. or acupressure for relieving chronic fatigue. You should be able to find a few diagrams showing which pressure points you can use to help. There are several pressure points.Just rub each one in a circular motion very gently.Count to 60 for each one then move on to the next. I use it.
