    Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Can anyone help me. 61 yrs old, good health, healthy weight, eat well and I exercise. Several years back, around pre menopausal time, I started dealing with these spells. Identical every single time. I could and can to this day predict what will happen next.

All is going good, i feel good, active then one day i feel extremely tired. Almost like a weak feeling. Then by next day it starts with a very achy neck and am usually in bed and sleep more for day or two. Rest of body then starts to ache. I just feel sick but never a fever or stomach issues, no soar throat. By third day I move from bed to chair but then I just have to wait for it to run its course. Could be a week or so to get back to normal. This is happening about every two works right now. I can almost predict it to a tee! Exact symptoms every single time! Over the years sometimes I could go a few months or so but now its happening so often. All blood work up is really good.

Any help or direction would be appreciated. Just lately my doctor has suggested possibly chronic fatigue syndrome????

Chronic fatigue can be autoimmune...have you considered seeing a Infectious Disease doctor for further evaluation?

No I havenít. I didnít know what kind of doctor I should turn too. My blood work up that my reg doc ordered, looking for autoimmune, showed no clue.
