    Question Personal time fatigue

Hi. I am a 49 yo male and for the past 3-4 months I have been experiencing fatigue during my personal time, meaning in the evening when I return home from work or on the weekend. When this occurs I feel so tired and have a strong desire to sleep. During the week I go to bed early; on the weekends I take 2-3 hour naps. My blood count and thyroid are good. I had some stress at work but that has decreased significantly. I am not depressed or on chemo.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Re: Personal time fatigue

Dear John - i would suggest a physical. my sweetie had the same thing; come home after work, sit down to watch the news and doze off on the couch w/in minutes. turns out he has a number of health issues (diabetes, high blood pressure, low testosterone, at atriel fibrillation, etc) that, when addressed, helped him to have more energy. his dr also recommended a vitamin regimen. but the first step is a visit to the dr.....you may not have anything more than being anemic ! point being - there are a whole host of things that can impact your energy......

please take care and keep us posted !

Thank you so much for the reply, parker1261! I am so sorry for the host of health issues your sweetie has. I am happy he was able to regain his energy. I agree a physical is in order.

BTW: I LOVE your m/asses signature! LOL!!!

    Re: Personal time fatigue

dear john - i TOTALLY stole my signature tag lines from my sister-in-law's face book page! and thank you for your concern regarding my sweetie's health; he's the strongest most determined best man i know and he's doing fine and gets up every day and fights the battle ......as we all do.
don't stress about your fatigue - your primary care dr can get things going in the right direction.....just remember that your dr works for YOU....second and third opinions are just fine if you need them.

    best wishes....
