    Neuromuscular pain ????

Have been suffering from pain which is debilitating to say the least for 6 months now. Pain is localised under shoulder blade on right hand side and seems to be muscle related. Doctors here in UK seems not to understand myofascial pain and PT/massage seem to be guarded so am prone to self-diagnosis. X-ray of chest is clear and blood tests ok. Pain has never really gone away despite some relief from deep tissue/acupuncture/chiropractors. It seems to get worse under some therapy mostly when performed directly on the site (acupressure seems to have really recked me). Meds dont help much so using heat/ice/muscle relaxants (diazapam). Never had surgery but can feel a muscular "lump" under the skin...PT says there is a trigger point there. Everytime I have PT knot just reappears and pain seems to get worse.

    Anyone any ideas ?
