Diarrhea ( Stomach flu )

Hi. Im currently having stomach flu and its annoying because every 15 to 30 mins, i have to go to the toilet. Firstly, my stool is brown but then i didnt eat for 2 days and i see a change in colour. It turns green. I started of having high fever but im glad its over now. So its all left with stomach flu. A friend told me i needed to drink a lot of fluids which i only drink it like every time when im eating my medicine if i didnt eat, then i will not drink. So my question is. Do i still have to drink a lot of water after taking my med or that water that i drink while having my meds is enough? Am i able to drink isotonic drink like hundred plus? How long will this stomach flu last ?

Re: Diarrhea ( Stomach flu )

I hope you feel better. I had the stomach flu 2 times in the last 2 weeks. It's so frustrating. I think I've been getting it from the daycare kids where I work.
