Live For The Day - At that rate that's all a person could be living for!

Extreme excercise is not recommended when one has for eg. a cold or flu as our Heart is actually weaker and this can be dangerous!

I agree with good old Chicken Soup with vegetables, in Ireland it's a long running remedy!! Also Green Tea has gotta be good as well as the obvious good diet of course!!

At the first symptom of cold, say the start of the sore throath take Tylenol Flu medication inmediatly. Then take 30-50mg of zinc a day and keep with the tylenol flu medication until its cleared. (Zinc is clinically proven to be as powerful antibiotic as tetracyclin). Also if you want to prevent the cold/flu altogether just take zinc supplements everyday. Granted you will never get a cold as long as you keep taking zinc.

the best thing for a sore throat- buy some claritin. It will dry up the stuff that goes down the back of your throat causing the inflammation. Everything else will just sooth it.

A cold cannot be cured, here are some good ways to prevent:
    As said, wash your hands!
    Don't share drinks or foods
Take lots of Vit C-your body flushes it out daily, so you can take quite a bit. I take 2000mg a day(ESPECIALLY if you smoke).
Remember, a cold lasts 7-10 days. If it lasts longer, see your doctor.
buy day and night cold medication.
Hope some of this helps someone!

Re: fastest way to get over cold??'s otc, homepathic, and will knock that cold to the floor. As soon as I feel like I am getting a cold, I grab the zicam. Never had one last over two days. Supposedly, the zinc solution prevents the replication of the virus. I really don't care how it does it, it works like a miracle.
