facial mole removal question

Okay I don't know if this is true or not but I've heard that you do run the risk of scaring. I know someone that got one on their face removed and it wasn't big at all and it left a dark bruise type mark that was bigger then a half dollar that didn't go away. I don't think facial birthmarks look bad but thats just me. Madonna always put one on her face. Look at Cindy Crawford shes a model, I think its all in how you look at it. I think if it is the size of a golfball I would understand your concern and probly get the surgery regarless of risk. But if not I would think about it. Women tend to nit pick their own bodys when other people don't even notice or think its a pretty feature you have. Hope this helps HuLa

I had some facial moles removed and it depends on where they are as to how they scar.
If they are on the cheeks or chin do not have them excised.
I have had 9 moles removed. They were all quite small but the ones on my cheeks which were excised and stiched have left distinct marks that even though have 'matured' are worse than the moles were.
I have had some done by slicing the mole off and then dermabrasion.
If you want the least scarring possible, it is best to see a dermatologist who specialises in this and probably go for the slicing and dermabrasion.
I was really distressed at my scarring as I had very good clear skin at it is very noticeable.
