Unhappy Anorectal Abscess heading towards a Fistula, no Medical insurance..HELP!

So I live in California and I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 6th grade. I am 21 now, since 8th grade I have been on Remicade infusions every 8 weeks to stop a recurring fistula that I've had 9 surgeries for. I've been fine since I started Remicade 8 years ago, however I just turned 21 and lost CCS (California Children's services) and medi-cal. I was told by my welfare worker that I cannot appeal Medi-cal. So I haven't had a Remicade infusion in 23 weeks and I can feel the abscess that follows the fistula coming back. And I remember the symptoms and I have all those symptoms. I seriously don't know what to do, I have no medical insurance and no Remicade and I'm about to Graduate college (I have one semester left). Does anybody know of anything I can do? I'm kinda panicking.

Re: Anorectal Abscess heading towards a Fistula, no Medical insurance..HELP! sorry to hear this. I think maybe the manufacturers of Remicade may offer financial assistance. Google it. I may be wrong, but my daughter's doctor mentioned this.
Also, check out the social service office at your local hospital. Go in and talk to them.
Best wishes to you. You need to get moving so you don't have a flare.

Also, If you can't go back on Remicade, then maybe try 6mp, or another drug that is much cheaper and more obtainable.
