What's in your cabinet/purse?

I Have Crohns & Neuropathy and i'm on pain meds for it. Not only do i get judged for taking hydrocodone, but i've been taking it for years and it doesn't work as well. I told my doctor about this and she asked what i thought i should take. The only thing i said i knew of was perkocet but she said she wouldn't prescribe it. What do ya'll take (if anything) so i can actually be prepared with a response. I"m also doing remicade every 4 weeks, Pentasa, Bentyl (doesn't help much but better then nothing), and Neurontin for my nerves. Thoughts?

Re: What's in your cabinet/purse?

Are you takin hydrocodon for UC or for the neuro stuff? If ur taking hydrocodon with tylenol in could be making the UC worse...Its know that tylenol can cause ulcers. Eventually the pain meds wont work anyway, you should try to find another way to deal with the pain or get to the cause of it. Also what type of neuroapathy do u have? Or what causes it?
