Crohn's colitis disease location

I have crohns colitis, limited to but throughout my entire large intestine but no ileum involvement. It's characterized as patchy, differentiating it from ulcerative colitis.

But I also have chronic gastritis, gerd and fatty liver.

It seems strange to me to be diagnosed with crohns confined to the large intestine while having gastritis and gerd, two upper digestive things.

Does anyone else have this combo? Why would it skip my entire small intestine? (Have had all the tests to rule out its involvement including the capsule)
