    Fellow patients taking Trikafta

I am interested in others' experiences so far with Trikafta. I have taken it since February, 2020. In the FDA trials, the results varied considerably, with the average patient seeing about a 13 point increase in their FEV1, along with significant reduction in mucus and cough.

I am not seeing much difference in my FEV1 nor in mucus and cough. My clinic says patients' results vary from those like mine to those with very major improvements.

I am considered a patient with RELATIVELY mild CF - not diagnosed genetically until after age 60. I'm wondering whether that may correlate. I have no digestive symptoms - just lots of mucus and cough.

Also, I have ONE of the mutation most common, and ONE a rare one. Wondering about correlation.

    Any other comments?
