    Unhappy Dental Cement in Throat

    Hello!

I recently had a dentist appointment of which I required a filling. I do believe I had some of the cement stuff they use to seal cavities drip into my throat. Since the appointment I have had this aggravating feeling like I have a spec of something lodged in my throat. Now I'm aware I could be just paranoid, but if this white cement stuff were to set solid in one's throat, would it be stuck there for a long while, until I were to get a professional to extract it? I'm wondering if the throat sort of sheds skin like our exterior skin does? If that is the case, I'm guessing that even if I did have the most sticky substance known to man stuck in my throat, my throat would just shed it away :P I'll admit I am a little embarrassed just speaking about this, my mind runs away with health 'issues' sometimes.

I look forward to hearing from you folks and I appreciate the help

    Alex

It would flake right off. No worries.
