Can ultrasound damage your teeth?
I'm residing in Russia now. The healthcare here is kind of terrible.
I went to get my tartar and plaque removed. The dentist used ultrasound on my teeth. When she was done she handed me a mirror to take a look at the result. I was surprised to see that the tartar on the lower canines was still there and probably some other places. She used the ultrasound on the canines and maybe somewhere else 2 times again before I stopped her and told her she was blind. She maintained she didn't see any tartar there at all. I'd never had this problem before. I used to go get it removed and left happy go lucky every time. I refused to pay and went to another dental clinic where I got it removed perfectly. However after 2-3 weeks my teeth started to get yellowish which resulted in some tartar on them despite brushing my teeth thrice a day. I went to see the doc and she told me I must have some digestive system problem. And I did. The main problem that is bothering me is I saw some craze lines (that's what thee called apparently) vertical tiny cracks in the teeth.
My question is could the blind bat cause the craze lines in my teeth after going at them 3 times? Or Could her 3 tries + 1 another successful one at the last clinic cause the craze lines ?
Or maybe I just never saw those craze lines before but there were there
Is quick tartar build-up connected with the digestive system problem? I had heartburn, a strong one.
