Has anyone had any experience with LANAP

Hi,

I'm looking at LANAP to regenerate some of the bone loss that I have accrued from periodontitis. According to the claims, LANAP has been shown to regenerate bone on occasion but all the sources seem kind of sketchy. A lot of information on LANAP leads directly back to the company website and although it's approved by the FDA, last I heard it's not been approved by AAP. The literature on bone generation through LANAP that I came across has been sparse. How effective is this technique? Why is it not a mainstream procedure? Has anyone obtained good results with it, specifically for bone regeneration?
