 Anyone taken Halcion during oral surgery
Hi All. I had my comprehensive pre-surgery visit to the periodontist yesterday (will have the surgery April 8).
I will be having some very extensive work on my gums, well, everywhere except the upper and lower fronts. I have mostly 6 to 7 pockets, and one 8. The periodontist is going to go in, cut the gums open, remove the bacteria, put some sort of something in there, then stitch it back up, and put the pink packing on it for 2 weeks. My question, has anyone used halcion for any kind of dental work. He does not give gas, or do IV deep sedation.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!! I very much fear dental work.
