Post Again, Bridge vs. Implant

My husband's orgal surgeon told him Implants were the only way to go vs. Bridges, these days. My dentist (who is quite younger) sold me on a bridge (3-part; whole in the middle with a tooth on both sides). What is the best way for me to know what is be best method of treatment (for me)?

Hi Sherry,
I'm in the same position as you. I had a molar pulled so I'm think a bridge. My sister-in-law lost her front tooth and she's in the process of getting an implant which take a real long time. Also, not everyone is the right canidate for an implant depending upon their bone structure (or something like that) Also, if you smoke don't go with an implant because it won't take as well.
