Gagging on partial denture

No offense, but could it be a mental thing since it was fine
yesterday?
Somewhere I read that sucking on a small mint, a breath mint
could help with gagging.
Hopefully, whatever is causing the your distress will pass.

I have a rather large upper partial and was concerned
with gagging when the process was first started (impressions, try ins, etc)
but fortunately gagging was never a problem during any of it.
Just remembered, I did a search and found several suggestions on what
to do when gagging with dentures, perhaps you could try that.
