Post Good foods to eat post-wisdom tooth extraction?

I just had mine taken out this morning, I haven't really had any problems yet. So far I've had an iced cappucino, a peanut butter and banana smoothie, part of a Slurpee and some Easy Mac from the good people at Kraft. Chewing isn't painful for me, but it's uncomfortable. Partly because I'm still slightly frozen, 12 hours after the fact. I had general anesthesia coupled with local anasthetic. Everything went well, but I'm starting to find myself at a loss for tasty foodstuffs. Any suggestions?

Eat very soft foods like bread, bananas, yogurt, purees, applesauce, etc.. nand nothing too hot or cold.
Also try dring with a straw. Good luck!

you should NOT drink with a straw because it can pull out the blood clots that form in the extraction hole. This will cause what they call "Dry Sockets" and it's very painful to go through.

Thumbs down

Well, I just got my wisdom teeth pulled. And Oh My God. I do not ever want to do that again. I'm still oozing blood from my mouth since it doesn't stop til 12 hours after. I've only eaten one thing today, in order to get down my medication, which was mushed up pineapple sauce.. and I've been drinking water and milk. I hope that's the last time I have to get anything pulled or ripped out of my mouth
