Exposed Dentin on Biting Surface of Incisors Causes Sensitivity! Treatments?
I have healthy teeth and gums.
However the biting surfaces of my top and bottom inscisors are worn just enough so that the dentin is exposed.
I used to clench which contributed to this. I also had a dentist who sanded the inscisors down to "brighten my smile."
Well the inscisors look sharp, but they are now painful and sensitive.
I've tried tootpastes which only help immediately after brushing.
A dentist recommended a root canal and crowns. This seems so unneccesary for a healthy tooth.
Another suggested veneers, but common sense tells me this won't help; since I need something that will cover and seal the biting surfaces of the teeth.
