Dull ache months after root canal
 

I had a root canal on my right, back molar at my dentist office about 6 months ago. There was a constant dull ache in the tooth still after a few months, so I went to see an endodontist. The endodontist told me that my roots were curved, therefore, the dentist did not remove all of the root. He (the Endodontist) reperformed the root canal, took x-rays after, and told me that everything looked great, but it has been 2 months and I still have an on again/ off again dull ache! It doesn't keep me up at night, and I don't take any pain medicine for it, but the ache is still constantly there. Is this normal?? What could be causing the dull ache?? Please help!!:confused:

Sounds like you still have a problem with that tooth. Did you go back to your Endoddentist?
