Re: wisdom tooth cause of headaches?

Yes wisdom teeth can cause headaches. Do any meds touch the headaches? Are your wisdom teeth all the way in? Are they coming in? How soon can you get them out? Try taking some OTC meds, you can take Morton IB (or any of that kind of meds) and take Tylenol four hours later, and repeat every four hours, or if your dentist can prescribe some pain meds...Lortab etc you can take Morton with that. Hope that helps

No pain killers helps the widsom tooth dnt hurt unless pressure is applied i am on amitriptlyin 25mg and topirmate which is new to me and seems to be doing me no good i havent had any severe attacks but been jst suffering frm constant throbbing and pressure now lately been nauses light headed and pale as well my blood pressure has been abit low

Re: wisdom tooth cause of headaches?

hi, i had a lot of trouble about 8 years ago with a wisdom tooth, i attended an emergency dental service with the terrible pain and the dentist wrongly diagnosed me with sinus trouble because he could see nothing wrong with my teeth, i had to endure a month of incredible pain coming over me every couple of days, i ended up being sent to a specialist who did a sinusoscopy ( i think its called ) anyway he wasnt sure so i had to have a cat scan, eventually after a month i ended up back at my old dentist who xrayed it and thought it was an abscess under a wisdom tooth that was disintegrating, i was referred to hospital because he felt it might break if he tried to remove it, and after a lot of trouble it was eventually removed and i have had no further trouble, wisdom teeth can be responsible for so much trouble, it might be the cause, hope this helps, cheers
