White spots on gums...(not canker sores)

Hi guys,
I noticed that I have a few areas with different sized white spots on my upper gum. They are not very raised and are not canker sores. I'm not sure how long they have been there (I just noticed them). However, the tooth below one of them has hurt a little bit every time I have flossed for quite some time now.

I have them in 2 areas.

I have regular dentist and doctor appointments and no one has said anything about I'm not super concerned, but I love some input if possible!

Thanks guys!

Do you have candida? An overgrowth of yeast in your body can cause this.
