Question Moderate Pain after RCT

Perhaps someone has had this experience and would like to know how you felt. I have had quite a few rct's in the past. Some were successful and some were not. I had the second part of a rct last wk on Wed, this tooth previously broke in half after the first procedure. The dr felt he could still work the tooth and did the second portion of the rct procedure. Its now Sat and since yesterday I have pain in the tooth similar to when I came in to have it done. Throbbing, painful off and on and noninflammatory only help a bit for a short time.
I had wanted to have the tooth extracted to begin with as the cavity was at the gumline and loose, painful. Will call the dr for the second time on Mon. Any similiar problem? I realize that sensitivity is normal after the procedure but wow this different.
