Good dreams

I just awoke from a good dream. I was happy, content and joyful in my dream. However, when I awoke from the dream I realized that it was just a dream and I was in reality still miserable (really no need to bore anyone with the details of my situation). This has happened several times recently so the panic attack that ususally comes along side this was not as severe but still it's annoying.

Anyone else experience this?

Is it a good sign (that my depression will soon end) or just a symptom of depression?

Re: Good dreams

My "nice mares" are really annoying. I'd rather have nightmares. At least then I can realize that reality is better than my dreams.

This sucks.

Re: Good dreams

I'd say it's a good sign. It means that somewhere inside your subconcious you know what it would take to make you happy joyful and content. You just need to figure out what it was in the dream that was so great, and then how to make that happen in real life.
