Re: Zoloft and half a jar of peanut butter

Hi April, well I have been on Zoloft now for 27 days 50mg also 1 a day. I have found that my appetite is slim to none. I weigh 120lbs and am 5'7 so I am underweight for how tall I am. I really can't afford to lose anymore weight, but since being on Zoloft I am just not hungary at all.
I have'nt really even noticed any change as to me feeling better.
So I think when they say medication effects everyone differantly, it is true.
As long as your feeling better, keep taking your meds.
    Good luck

Re: Zoloft and half a jar of peanut butter

    April:
When on Nortriptyline my choice of 'bad' food was the dreaded cheese danish or a bagel with pineapple cream cheese. Now I've started Paxil, only on first week, and my inability to eat is the issue. Previously, to control my cravings I did the 10 lbs of peeled carrot sticks in the fridge. When PMSing, I swear, I would turn orange. The big thing is to really watch your carbohydrates and increase your protiens and fruits and veggies.
    Good luck

Increase hunger can be an initial when starting Zoloft.

If you are concerned, watch what you eat and exercise, then you should be fine.

If you have any more questions on Zoloft, let me know.
