Treatment Resistant Depression -- any new info 2014?

Have tried everything -- all medications on the market since 1980 up to and including Viibryd (I have tried MAO Inhibitors, SSRIs, Tryciclics, mood stabilizers, other stuff I do not remember right now, and stuff for bipolar disorder such as lithium, abilify, depakote, geodon, etc.) . I have done ECT (THAT was a mistake!), tons of therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Have not tried TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) or ketamine.

Please do not tell me it is all in my head, or some kind of emotional issue.

If you have some SERIOUS, FACTUAL information to add, I would welcome it.

Anyone who does not either have first-hand knowledge of CHRONIC TREATMENT RESISTANT DEPRESSION or is a doctor, Ph.D. or professional (PAID!} medical researcher, I do not want to hear about your folk remedies, "homeopathic" cures, or other old husbands tales of bizarre cures or "positive thinking" messages.

I only want to hear about SCIENCE, with replicated scientific/medical PROOF.

I Have done a FULL session of TMS. It took my depression away for 5 months. Then it slowly started creeping back. My Dr said we all have "off days." I am back to Major depression and about to start my second round of it. Meds make me so SICK!! This was a life saver for me and I noticed it about 2 weeks. Some people get one treatment a month and I am thinking I will be one of "those people" that need monthly or bi-monthly treatments. Where do you live? I am in NE. My Insurance covers it but still costs me 3000.00!!!!
