Hi Toypoodle! Are you a white, black or brown poodle?

The best medication for Type 2 Diabetes is diet, if you can do it.

I have had heart failure since 1987, and subsequently have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I do six small, low calorie, low carb, balanced meals per day for a total of about 1500 calories, or 250 calories per meal.

Small meals are great for both heart failure and diabetes since it limits the load on both the heart and the pancreas.

By eating every 2 hours, it keeps me from wanting to snack, or snacking, because I know I can feed my face very soon, at any time during the day.

The proof is in the pudding. My blood sugar is always at very healthy levels, my blood pressure is always at very healthy levels, and my health is excellent and I've never taken any kind of medication for Diabetes.

But, it isn't easy. I am retired so it isn't all that hard to do and I like it!

    Best of luck and health!
