Diabetes???
I have had wierd symptoms with out diagnosis for a long time. I find that I am very sensitive to simple carb (like sugar or cereal in the morning) and don't have it often because it makes me feel so off. In the meantime, I am hungry often and only feel better when I eat. I have tingling in left chest area and tongue, among other symptoms which I won't elaborate on here, but what I want advice on is my relationship with my doctors.
I have had the blood glucose (fasting for 8 hours) test many times and it comes out normal so I am told I don't have a problem with diabetes. All my other blood tests come out normal too (except cholesterol).
Should I insist on having it looked into? Or are my doctors corrrect? It is my understanding that people with undiagnosed diabetes crave simple carbs, which is the opposite of me. Any advice or personal experiences would sooo appreciated. Thanks!
